Cylindrical Poles
Cylindrical poles are used for a wide variety of purposes from fencing to outdoor furniture. We stock cylindrical poles from 1.5m - 9m, with diameters ranging from 50mm to 200mm. All our cylindrical poles come standard CCA treated or untreated. Other treatments on request.
Tapered Poles
Tapered poles are used for a wide variety of purposes from wooden fencing to pergolas. We stock tapered poles from 1.5m - 9m, with diameters ranging from 50 - 79mm to 160 - 180mm. All our tapered poles come standard CCA treated or untreated. Other treatments on request.
Guardrail
Guard rail or guardrail systems keep people or vehicles away from dangerous areas, and are commonly used as road and highway guardrail barriers. We stock guard rail wooden posts, which are 1.8m in length and 150mm or 180mm in diameter. The spacer blocks also come in various sizes.
Post & Rail (Bollards)
A wooden post and rail fence is an attractive boundary to your property. Length 1.8m x 125mm and 1.8m x 150mm. All our poles come standard CCA treated or untreated. Other treatments on request.
Droppers (Survey Pegs)
Survey pegs or droppers are used mostly for land surveying and on construction sites, but also have other applications. Our droppers are 32-50mm in diameter, with lengths from 1.4m to 3.6m. Die Pale Depot uses the best quality wood to produce our survey stakes. They come standard CCA treated or untreated. Other treatments on request.
Thatching laths
Laths (latte) are mainly used in thatch roofs and lapas or for screens carports and pergolas. We offer machine-turned pine laths which are much more even and smooth than the usual blue gum variety. Standard sizes are 1.8m, 2.4m, 3m and 3.6m. Diameter ranges between 21mm to 35mm.
Thatching reed
Thatching reed is used to create a rustic, natural roof for homes, lapas and other buildings. We supply Cape Reed Thatch, which has a longer lifespan and better insulation qualities than other types of thatch.
Garden edging
Garden edging provides an attractive border for flower and vegetable beds. The high quality log rolls are created from either droppers, laths or split poles and are all 2m in length with heights of either 200mm, 300mm or 400mm. Our log rolls are CCA treated (standard) or untreated. Other treatments on request.
Spanish reed
For rustic, natural ceilings, pergolas, fencing or screens. We supply Spanish Reed sold in bundles of 25 units. They are 3.6m in length and 20 - 30mm in diameter.
Half rounds
Our half round machine-rounded poles are ideal for landscaping projects or DIY projects. With varying lengths and sizes available these timber poles are ideal for a number of applications. The timber poles/ rails are manufactured using softwood, and treated with Tanalith E Green to ensure the longevity of the product.
